Is anyone a winamp user? I'm currently using version 5.24, but noticed that 5.32 is out. However, my version is by Nullsoft while 5.32 is by AOL. I despise AOL just like so many here do. Has anyone used 5.32 and did AOL f it up? Does it now have any spyware or is this a safe upgrade?

Aw man!! AOL did the new Winamp?!? DAMNIT  I guess my Winamp upgrades stop at 5.24 then....Time to dig up the old MusicMatch account again....

Dudes, AOL has owned Nullsoft for a LONG time, since 1999. Even if this is the first "AOL-branded" Winamp, I think it's safe to say that AOL engineers have been writing code for Winamp for quite some time. AOL buys Winamp

I thought they did, but I was too lazy to go searching. I haven't used Winamp much lately anyways. Too many MP3 players and good speaker systems to worry about a computer that can play mp3s
