Ok, I hope I'm not beating a dead horse here, but I've read a LOT of stuff here about air filters (especially K&N) and see the mixed opinions. I think I have convinced myself not to get a CAI, but was curious about drop in filters.

SO, here's my question. Has anyone noticed if any drop in filter is "better"? I know the K&N and Fram Air Hog type are reusable, but after factoring the cost of re-oiling, is it still "cheaper"? Let me know. Thanks guys.
