I have searched and haven't been able to find any sound clips of a flowmaster on an xterra. I am getting a muffler put on on tuesday and am trying to decide between magnaflow and flowmaster. Any opinions/ sound clips (found the magnaflow one posted a couple days ago) would be greatly appreciated.

Dude, im tellin ya, get Glasspacks. I had the 40 series and my best friend has the Magnaflow Cyclone on his. I got my Glasspack and it sounds a ton better than the 40 series, the Magnaflow sounds good but I just needed something really loud!!!! If u want loud and deep sounding(not ricy) get glasspacks, if u want not so loud but still sounds good get Magnaflow.

How do the magnaflow and flowmaster compare from what you heard on your car and your friend's?

get a glasspack if you want it to sound obnoxious in couple months when the filling of it burns up. As far as flowmasters and magnaflow go they both sound good. Flowmaster 40series original is louder than magnaflow or 40series delta. It's all personal preference

I've had mine for 4 months now, and it's not Loud to the point where its annoying; it is loud but sounds great. I would get the Magnaflow I just didnt like the 40 series Delta, but then again it is up to you.

I have the Flowmaster series on my X and the sounds is not that bad. Has a nice rumble to it.
