I couldn't find an answer for this directly in the search so I thought I would ask.

Can you replace the muffler that came with the Calmini High Flow Exhasut system with a Flowmaster 40 series? Basically can I just drop it in a bolt it up? Reason I am asking is it apprears the muffler that came with my Calmini system has a crack in the flange, and that makes me a little nervous especially with the trails I have been driving lately.

If you can.....does anyone know the model # flowmaster 40 series muffler that will work with the 2.25" tubing of the Calmini high flow system?

I dont think there will be any problem with the flowmasters. they are very small in size compared to the stock water heater. Just make sure you get 2.25 in and the same going out of the muffler.

go to ebay and go to performance pedlers ebay store. brand new 40 series for 37 bucks sealed in the box. got mine there and had it welded on for 40 bucks. not a bad deal at all!!!

Which one do you get? I know you want the pipe coming in to be in the middle...with the pipe coming out to be on the right (if you looking down on the vehicle. I know my exhaust tubing is 2.25"....but still I don't see the right one. I know I must be an a$$ but can anyone help? Part # or a link?

By the way why did you have to have it welded in? Is it because the hanger isn't on it?

Is the inlet in the middle.....and the outlet on the riht.....or does it really matter?
