Ok, My Calmini exhaust is all rusted out and I need a repalcement. I want stainless steel so I don't have to replace the exhaust every year. Should I go with a premade exhaust like Borla, and Gibbson or should I look at a custom job. I got a name of a good place that uses Flowmaster and Magnaflow systems. ( louscustomexhaust.com ) Thanks in advance for anyone with advice.

It all comes down to your personal choice, I faced the same question and eventually just went with a local muffler shop.

Be aware that many "Stainless Steel" exhausts aren't really stinless steel and will still rust out, they're just more rust resistant than normal steel.

The NISMO system is fully stainless end to end. A bit pricy but I think it is the best system available.

I went with a performance muffler shop that installed a Magnaflow Stainless steel cat-back system.

is it less expensive to have a local shop fabricate a cat-back versus a premade cat-back of the same quality?

less expensive for a muffler shop to do it from my experience. However w/muffler shops many of them dont' have mandrel benders.

I decided to get a custom Magnaflow SS cat-back system. I got a name of a place from a club member www.louscustomexhaust.com . I'll take some pictures when they are done. Thanks
