jrbbikerx, I am no trying to pull a house!!! LOL It's just that I use a 6x12 enclosed trailer with a motorcycle in it. The total weight is about 3,000 lbs. which is 2,000 less than the allowable tow weight, but it seems like it strains way too much. On the highway, it feels like it strains too much with the overdrive on. If I shut it off, it seems to rev way too high at 65-70 mph. It sounds like the engine will blow up before I get to where I am going. That's why I figured that if I get a little more power out of it through some simple mods, they kind of pay for themselves. As I read the responses though, I am getting the feeling that you guys are telling me that I will be wasting my money. Before I totally discount the idea, did anyone actually use a dyno or g-tech meter to see exactly how much is gained by these mods? everything I read so far seems to be seat of the pants feel. I don't like to go by that b/c if it sounds cool, it will feel faster. I want to know actual gains. Thanks guys/gals!!
