#647468 - 20/12/05 03:15 AM Has anyone purchased the One Day Subscription for manuals?

I am consisdering the one day subscription. I would like to hear from someone on how well this worked. Would I be able to open each chapter and save as PDF by chapter or is this a page by page thing. I suppose what I am asking is if I get the one day scrip will I be able to get the full manual saved to my puter to print.

How much time involved in downloading the entire manual? I am on broadband so my connection should not be an issue.

Sent an e-mail to Nissan Support, response below;

Subscriptions allow for on-line viewing only. Attempts to save or print the files will corrupt them and make then unreadable.

Subscription purchases allow for full access to the TSB's.

OK, now what are my options?
I don't mind paying the 20 bucks but I want to save them for future use. T

Not sure what the situation is now, but I do know that many people have gotten the one day subscription and saved the individual chapter pdf files. If done correctly the index pdf will link to the selected section when selected, (so I hear). Would probably take the better part of an hour to download everything with a broadband connection.

The 2005 manual is 44 files and 93meg. They are PDF's and the pdf viewer has a save pdf button. There is a table of contents on the left, click on each item, wait for the pdf to load and press that little save button.

umm that ain't true... I can attest to that.

futhermore, you don't need a subscription to view the files, just to get access to them. If you have the URL for the index (fwd.pdf) you can access the whole manuale. In fact you can access any manual on their site for any year if you know the right code or vehicle name.

Lets just hope they don't find this post wink

CD copy of the complete factory service manual and the owners manual from eBay. Easy to use ,enlarge , and print. Best of all it was maybe $8.00 shipped.

If you were able to post this question with the link, the download (chapter by chapter) won't be a problem for you. It's only a matter of going chapter by chapter without skipping one. In few hours, I was able to download the complete serie from 2000 to 2005. I have know a full set of service manual for my fellow Club Members (on hard drive and on CD).
Worth every pennies.

If anyone is interested I have the 2000 FSM on CD. I can do copies for a vey reasonable price. (mainly covering the cost of shipping and cd.) I also have access to a couple other's, including the 05 Titan & 03/04 350Z.

I'm just doing this as a contribution to the community and not trying to make a profit. PM me for more info.
