NYY (money can buy you happiness...but not a world series...too old)
CWS (good returning core)
OAK (young pitching is a good thing)
CLE (it is their turn to make the playoffs)

NL Playoff teams:
ATL (no on has the pitching to beat them in the NL West)
STL (obvious, best team in the NL)
LAD (most upgraded team next to T.O.)
PHI (enough offense to beat ATL but not enough pitching in a hitters park)

News and Notes:
-most imporved team will be Milwakee (very young)
-most dissapointing team will be the NYM (again)
-Pierre, Figgins, Podsednik, Reyes will have a great race for the SB crown and someone will get 80+ (who cares about the HR race eh?)
-Manny won't get traded (who cares?)
-Bonds will play, bet booed, get hurt, look even worse, throw a fit, hit a reporter.... and then finally retire...good riddance
-STL will win 100 games again
-Ichiro comes back in a HUGE way
-Pujols decides it is time to push for 30-30
-the Cubbies season will die on the arms of Wood and Prior as Zambrano finally runs out of gas as well
-Ortiz eats poutine in Toronto for the first time, gets addicted and gets even fatter, eliminating any chance of him bending over for a grounder at 1B ever again
-Rolen returns to form and 'Murders Row' is rebourn
-Adam Dunn and A Jones hit over 50 HR but the real race is who can get to 200 Ks first
-best division in baseball will be the NL Central with STL, HOU, CHC, MIL all finishing above .500
-if healthy, STL finally wins the WS with the best pitching rotation in MLB and Murderers Row in full effect (..really, what did you expect?)
