GrnXnham Member Registered: 26/04/02 Posts: 510 Loc: Tacoma, WA	I noticed last week that the one light behind the tach in the dashboard is out. Is this something we can get to ourselves or should I just take it to the dealer? One of the lights behind the heater controls went out on me for about a week about a month ago. It seemed to fix itself. It came back on again and has been working since. Maybe the light behind the tach will come back on also? Sounds to me like Nissan will charge me a fortune just to replace this one friggin light because it's such a pain. It seemed to fix itself. It came back on again and has been working since. Maybe the light behind the tach will come back on also? This happened to me also and it just started working again.....but I don't think your going to have the same luck with the tach light. And it just sounds like a pain in the ass to get up in there _________________________ If your stupid today, it's a safe bet you'll be stupid tommorrow!

GrnXnham Member Registered: 26/04/02 Posts: 510 Loc: Tacoma, WA	I finally decided to deal with this. I paid a friend to do it. I bought the lights. There are three lights behind the instruments. Two of mine were burned out. Nissan wanted $20 each for these funky little lights! I found cheaper alternatives at Car Quest for $3 each. We replaced all three lights. My heater control lights went out again, so I replaced those as well. There are two lights behind the heater controls. These lights are different than the ones behind the instruments. Couldn't find these lights aftermarket but Nissan only wanted $6 each for them so I bought two from Nissan and replaced those as well. So it was $150 total for 5 lights and labor. Money well spent.
