It's probably normal. With catalytic converters, there is water vapor left in the exhaust. When that exhaust hits the (relatively) cooler muffler, it condenses and drains out. Ever notice water dripping from the end of the tailpipe? Same thing just further back. Mufflers therefore today have a drain hole for this very reason.
