The saddest day of any boat owner is the day he sells his boat!
That was true when i sold my 2000 Xterra SE in late 2006. After a 7 year hiatus, i just recently bought a (very) used 2001 Xterra XE 4x4 for my second car (winter vehicle) It rattles, it shakes, it squeeks, and i love it!
I went to the dealership to see what they might have in a 2013 model. When i test drove it, i have to say i was a bit disappointed. The reason why i love these trucks in the first place was that they were a rugged, no frills, 4 on the floor kind of vehicle. Now the new ones have push button everything, and the price tag...holy cow!! Close to $40k for an Xterra??? Shame on you Nissan!
So instead i found a used one, that i could pay cash for and still have many years of use out of it. Now i am looking forward to dressing her up a bit...
I am currently looking for the ORIGINAL GEN1 Neoprene seat covers that had the Xterra name on it. Also will be (maybe next year), putting the ARB Bull Guard on the front. and dress up the back with some Tail light covers and rear bumper covers.
I remember way back when, there was a site for just these things through Nissan...is there still a site for all this stuff, or is it all aftermarket now?
Thanks!! Muskey

Thanks!! Muskey Even the Xterra itself will be only available aftermarket....say after 2015 or so. CAFE spilled all over the place, a real mess. www.4x4parts.com is a good bet for stuff now a days.

What kind of end result are you shooting for?
