Did you ever try popping the plastic cover off (4 seconds), loosening the two bolts (13 seconds), putting the new battery in (6 seconds), tightening the bolts (14 seconds), and replacing the plastic cover (6 seconds).

If you got charged $130 dollars for that, you deserve it. :rolleyes:

As I said before, our Jetta has had (to date) 50,000 completely trouble free miles.
