You should patent it and sell to Nissan.

THanks laugh
X-Factor,

Thanks for the glowing review, and I'm pleased you're happy with the kit. I just want to clarify for everyone that the price of my see-thru roof deflector kit is still $75.00 plus $10.00 shipping/handling to the lower 48 states (Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada based on actual shipping costs)

Sean

I'd like to thank Sean for putting together such a great kit. I ordered it Thursday evening and got it today, Saturday. Less than 48 hours later it is installed on my truck. Looks great!

One tip that I found useful was to use 1" masking tape, (the blue easy to remove variety), to relocate the traced lines on the deflector. The inner edge of the tape becomes the cutting line. Much easier than measuring 1" from the traced line and then drawing the cutting line.

I also painted the screw heads flat black by first lightly sanding the heads for better paint adhesion, and then sticking the screws through a piece of cardboard to make them easier to paint / handle.

Just ordered my kit! Where can I get a replacement NISSAN decal for the deflector? I don't see one on xterraparts.com.

I just got my deflector installed this weekend, it looks great and I have to concur with everyone else the directions were eay to follow and it is a mod you truly need if you have a sunroof. If anyone wants pics of the done deflector let me know, I also toook the xterra emblem from the back and put in ont he deflector in place of the nissan emblem. It looks great! Thanks Sean for the deflector!
