Actually, I was advocating a view that there isn't only one way to do things. People slag on square tube all the time as being inadequate (e.g., for inner or exo cages) and it can be fine. For most people, differences in round or square tube are completely irrelevant, except for cost and weight.

Of course, "one of the leading manufacturers of competition off-road vehicles, both modified and built from the ground up" hasn't told me shit so what do I know.
