Ironically, that's how some people feel about the 2nd Gen X. Though "womanize" isn't accurate in the X's case, they did abandon the original X concept. In keeping with a "family of vehicles" strategy, they made the X into a mini-Pathfinder. They only kept the stepped roof and tailgate hump as styling cues for marketing purposes.
