A friend of mine once drove flat deck trailers and he still had these straps in the storage compartment in his tractor.. he said he had no use for them anymore so he gave them to me(4"X25') he had 2 of them.... they are rated for 12,000lbs with a min. break load of 16,200lbs and the ring is rated for 20,000lbs... I know steel hooks is not recomended for a recovery strap but shouldnt the strap break before the 20,000lb ring?
My question is what could I do with the other end besides tring to tie it off on something.
