I didn't say the whole truck is a POS, I said the clearance of the Liberty is a pos (as in shitty clearance).
Why do you have to drive one to call something shitty? Just go and look underneath a liberty. Most of the ones on the road are the lowered ones, and the lower control arms are like an inch away from the ground.
Jeep (and Toyota) do not quote the absolute lowest point.
