I think a lot of Jeep guys don't like it, but they don't like it because it's IFS, not because it's unibody - the only non-unibody Jeep for a long time has been the TJ. Any "hardcore Jeeper" that doesn't like the KJ probably doesn't like the Xterra either, because both are IFS.

That said, I do personally prefer having the truck frame and I admit it was one of many factors that entered the equation when I made my purchase decision (which included quite a variety of vehicles).
