Why did you buy an Xterra ?

I wanted a vehicle that I could afford, that could carry 4 adults plus gear, is likely to last well over 100,00 miles, had fairly decent off road capability and good on road handling.

The Xterra is not perfect on any of those, but its a good compromise.
