Nissan 100,000 mile warranty

(warranty doesnt matter all that much though being that my father works at a nissan dealer)

Now I plan to use this both on a offroad as well as towing things from snowmobiles to boat....

THey are both really clean and will need tires in the near future but thats it...

well you're talking about a difference of 30,000 miles here. if you consider the fact that auto is 1000 dollar option, the fewer mileaged xterra is only about 1,000 more.
get the one with fewer miles. i would personally prefer black over red, although black is more common on the road.

Yep--I'd pay the xtra two grand for the thirty thousand mile difference.

I would personally go with the black one, unless you absolutely must have a stick, then go for the red.

I would absolutely go for the black one with fewer miles. If the maintenance has been keep up, it's going to need a lot fewer things sooner than the higher mileage one (like a timing belt for starters).

Plus you you said you will be towing stuff, the auto will tow 5000 whereas the 5 spd will only tow 3500

I think I would take the black one with fewer miles also. The price difference isn't that great, plus you may be able to do some negotiating.

go with the auto if this is going to be your only car because driving a stick full time in my opinion is a pain in the ass. Also as mentioned the auto will tow more.

Then maybe you should learn how to drive. I've always driven a 5 speed. I hate driving an automatic.

That being said I would choose the the black one because it has less milage.

Well, I know how to drive. My X is the first vehicle with auto I have ever owned. I must tell you, I love it 1000 times more than every stick I ever drove. Sticks are a pain in the ass. God bless the automatic transmission.

That being said, go with the one with less miles.

Sticks have their place. In a sports car I want a stick, in my truck I want an auto. My dad had a auto Camero and it was wrong on so many levels.

ummm ok FYI i can drive a stick i drive my dads porsche carrera around all the time and personaly i think that having a stick in an everyday driver gets to be a pain in the ass maybe you love always having one hand shifting but i like to be able to have at least one hand free at all times incase i drop somethin or whatnot.
