i hope somebody in this forum can help me with this problem,after downloading a program over the internet (online tv player) my computer gave an alarm of some file driver 32 been infected so i went to unistall the program and then just crash and i can't get it to work anymore, it does't even recognize the cd-rom, all my stuff is gone, when i press explore there's nothing there. what should i do? i'm sorry i don't know much about computers.

What operating system are you running? 98, XP, 2000?

Try hitting F8 during boot to see if it will go into safe mode.

Or go into the bios (usually delete or F2) and check the boot device order, make cd-rom the 1st boot.

Need more info if you can provide it.
