I walk out of my house this morning to go to work (X is parked on the street), walk around the back of the truck and get in. I notice a small note on the windshield, read it, it is an apology for hitting my car.

I get out to notice my front bumper laying half off on the grouns, and the upper bumper dented into the front quarter panel. SONS OF BITCHES!

Not the best way to start a morning. I guess I should just be thankfull the girl left a note.

Did it have a phone number or a name or anything?

That sucks. I feel your pain. frown

Even though they left a note your ride is still smashed up and you will have to spend the time to get it fixed.

Bummer...yeah, a note is worthless if it does not have the person's info...

The note has a phone number and name, which is good, but still sucks ass.

Yeah, sucks but it's much better than just walking out of your house in the morning and seeing that w/o a note or a clue to who did that.

If someone did that to me I would be thankful! Well, upset over the X but happy they left a note. I can't tell you how many times I take reports (cop) from people who were hit and no one left a note. I would say at least 4-7 times a week this happens to someone and I take the report... just mutiply that by all the officers out there and you will see how much it happens!

Your lucky that the person left there info. I lived in Philly (38th and Lancaster) for a number of years while I went to school and had my car backed into twice (Neither time was the person kind enough to leave their name) and a few smashed windows.

That blows man. I side swiped a car as a teenager once learning to drive with my dad. I wanted to take off but he made me leave a note. Felt much better about it in the long run and the other guy was very thankful.

Yeah a real bummer as far as cosmetics. Take a picture for files & move on with repairs. Be glad there are good people out there and more so that one was honest with damage they did to you.

You were lucky! =)
