Has anyone ever got this?

I have DirecTV, and I'm thinking about ordering it for the upcoming season. Just curious if any of you fellow hockey nuts have ever had Center Ice.

I guess they show 40+ NHL games a week. Sounds like heaven.

Two years now. It is worth it. I am not getting it this year because my oldest moved back to the beach. He was the hockey nut, plus I already got the football programming.

I had it two years ago through my cable provider and I liked it . I will most likely get it again this year. You'll get most of the games every week. The ones you do not get should be on your other normal stations.

Like I said, you should get most of the games. The ones you won't get are blacked out for some reason (your local team playing at home). I had a Friend in Chicago with Sat. TV who had it. He still thought he could get all the home Blackhawk games, but they were blocked out. I kept telling him he wasn't missing anything .

If you are in a Fantasy Hockey league, this is a must to have.

It should be even more worth it this year. I expect the price to come down. But even at the $99.99 a year it was well worth it.

Don't forget OLN will show 2 games a week.

Thats if you get OLN. (which I do) I wonder if there will be a conflict of any kind because Comcast owns the Flyers.

Good for me because I KNOW I will get to see my team all the time on Comcast Philly which, like Hockey Night in Canada and the Leafs, broadcasts from the Flyers' building. They have the studio open so that you can watch thier shows live in person.

I am still waiting to see if they even carry the NHL Center Ice package on Comcast digital cable this year. I havent seen any indication yet.

I know I'll get to see all of the B's games but I love watching other teams. I'll miss those 10:30 games on ESPN2. Maybe I will get the Center Ice package.

Found out Cox here is doing a free preview Oct. 5-12. They did the same with baseball and might have done the same with football. I don't know, didn't care enough to look. Cox is charging $129 that they can break into 3 payments, so I will be ordering this evening.

God did I miss Hockey.

That's what pisses me off about the NFL. The other leagues offer their packages with both cable and satellite, but the the NFL doesn't I don't like the dish, and Comcast doesn't have Sunday Ticket.

I ordered "Center Ice" a few days ago. $129 split up into three payments. For 40+ games a week it's worth it.

I wish I lived in the US. Just bled $139 for 18 pay per view games in HD!. BUT I have 1/3 of season tickets row 4 !!...
