OK so tonite Amanda (the wife) and I go to the mall to start our Christmas shopping. Looking for a spot, I find one next to another Xterra. (Like you don't do it either) Anyways I get out and say hey thats the color of the 02 model I traded in on my 05. Funny thing is.... the one I parked next to WAS my old one. I never thought I'd see it again.

I take a gander inside just to see who might be driving it. Lots of pink bags and lotion so I'm thinking its a girl. Also notice a LHS parking sticker (local high school) and guess what, same city as I live in. I traded it in at a dealership in Irving and here it is back in ol Lewisville where I live.

Well did you ever think you'd get to take some pics of one you traded in (for those who did this) and your new one.... me either. Well I took a few pics even though it was dark as I doubt I'll get another chance for this so look below.

The park job doesn't look too bad. Looks like angled parking? But the wheels on the old X don't look like the SE charcoal wheel.

They weren't. I sold them to get some black rocker crawlers and got someone to give me a set of XE wheels just because they wanted them out of the garage so I sold the black ones and put those on when I traded her in.

Hey - he's right, there is another X in the background. Atomic Orange I think u call it.... As for "knowing " it was yours..... do tell???

Nope it was Yellow and 2 spots up from it was a black one. I'm telling you, Xterra's are taking over the world.

Too bad you didn't have an extreme offroad shot of your old one handy to slap on her windshield... "Hey - this is what your truck's been through!"

I wonder how many X owners that have traded up have gone for the Night Armor, this makes at least 4 of us on this board alone.

Yeah how did you know for sure? just the wheel change and colour?...thats a pretty sweet coincidence.
