I like the bumper but it doesn't look race ready or anything. No notes on the suspension. confused

Yeah, just says 3 1/2 inch lift but nothing else detail wise...

Rule number one: If you don't NEED fiberglass fenders don't put them on.

The bumper is HUGE. A bit too big for my style.

Standard three inch lift.

I guess the effort was there but those things along with the fact that he kept his step rails didn't excite me.

I have to agree. The bumper is huge and just ugly IMO. A bumper that style and glass fenders don't make a prerunner. I'd like to see more notes or photos of the suspension too. Somehow I doubt is has anywhere near the travel Socal or I get on ours.

But its a "Nissan Xterror"! [LOL]
Editor X-do you have any videos of your X that I can download? I believe it was your X that I saw footage of hauling ass in the desert.

Wow - is that yours?

It's amazing how well the TC front suspension handles the whoops (and how poorly the solid axle rear handles them). I'd always heard that independent suspension was the way to go for desert racing stuff - and now I believe it.

Part of the problem with the rear is the shocks. They did not have enough dampening to keep up with the front. That's part of the reason I relocated the rear mounts and got 12 inch 2.5 dia. RaceRunners to go back there. The other problem is the wheels. We all know that aftermarket wheels have backspacing issues. On level ground under heavy compression (more than about 5 inches of up travel) I do hit the outside of my wheel wells albeit only by 1/2 and inch or so but it's enough to cause issues. Hence the bad bucking on the one section of whoops in the video...granted I was doing 75-80.

WTF, no dents, dings, or pin stripes? Side rails still on? It must have been a mall crawler made up to look like he took it offroading.
