if you want your local ip, go to start->run-> and type "cmd". At the prompt, type "ipconfig"

If using Windows2000/WindowsXP go to a command prompt and type ipconfig /all This will give your local workstations IP, your gateway (broadband modem or router and the IP address that those on the outside could possibly see) your provider's dns IP etc.

If using older, go to run and type winipcfg
