Does anyone know of a simple way to open the rear hatch? I like to sleep inside my X and wish there was an inside latch to open the hatch.

Way back when... a lot of people requested a way to open the hatch from the inside, and somebody came up with a kit to pull a string from the inside to unlatch it. Haven't heard any talk about it in a while though (several years). Might have been xterraparts.com that had it.

Yeah it was Xterraparts.com that had it at one point,but when I went to look earlier they didn't have it listed.

That's the kit I used and it works great.

Xterraparts still has the kit but it has a different part number: WD22P-EMHTR.
