The State of the Union address begins shortly.

Be on the lookout for Jorge Bush to call for amnesty for illegal aliens and to bring in all their relatives (code word = comprehensive immigration reform).

Grab hold of your wallets. There will be all sorts of spending initiatives included in the speech too. Things like doubling the amount we give away for AIDS (commonly known as African dictator, live like a King, fund), more money down the failed blackhole known as public education, money for the climate change fraud known as global warming, the ridiculous stimulus package, etc., etc., etc.

The Democrats have also rearranged the deck chairs of the press outlets attending the SOTU speech. It seems the Democrats have given Al Jazeera prime seating directly in the front. It makes no difference to the Democrats that Al Jazeera is responsible for the deaths of American soldiers. I'm sure the Democrats figured by giving Al Jazeera prime seating they could bad mouth their own country and help the enemy much faster and easier directly following the speech.

I'll be watching C-Span's coverage because I don't think I could take the broadcast media vermin.

Live Posting The State of the Union Address....

-- I switched to NBC's coverage.

-- Jorge is walking in now. All the hypocrites who talk trash about him are trying to shake his hand for the camera. Chris Shays kissed him. He hugged Obama. [Freak]

-- I wish Russert and Williams would shut the fuck up. I may go back to C-Span. mad

-- Comrade Pelosi is dressed fashionably in a light Barney colored pants suit. What's with leftist bitches and pants suits?

-- Comrade Pelosi introduces Jorge and the crowd cheered. They must be serving Tex-Mex after the show.

-- Pelosi is trying to control her uncontrollable blinking problem

-- Bush says we must trust people with their own money. Pelosi's body language did not approve. She is now puckering her lips. Sitting next to Cheney is getting her hot.

-- Bush talks about keeping tax cuts permanent. Cracks joke... the IRS accepts checks and money orders

-- Democrats do not stand or applause on making tax cuts permanent.

-- Hardly anyone stood or clapped at first regarding balanced budget. Then they all did after looking around.

-- Democrats don't like talk of veto on spending.

-- Bush says he will issue Executive Order against spending earmarks. Democrats don't really like that. Some Repub's too.

-- Government bonds to have taxpayers finance people's mortgages.

-- Hillary has hate on her face. Obama starring with fingers on mouth.

-- Dems don't clap on health savings accounts and stopping junk medical lawsuits.

-- Pelosi is blinking rapidly. Now puckering lips again.

Get out of the way Bush!... I can't see Pelosi.

-- Dems don't clap on statement about failing public schools.

-- Free trade talk gets little applause. Made in the USA comment gets little response (is anything made here anymore?). No Dems clapping on free trade talk and jobs for Americans.

-- Capturing carbon emissions and nuclear power didn't get much response from Dems. Everyone stands when he mentions reducing greenhouse gases. Hold on to your wallets folks.

-- Stem cell comment on Repubs clapped. Everyone seems against cloning.

Pelosi looks is reading speech booklet to control blinking.

-- Bush talks about judicial confirmations. Dems don't applaud (they are blocking his constitutional right to appoint judges).

-- He wants Congress to reform Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid. Many don't clap.

Here we go.... Immigration lies and bullshit.....

-- He wants foreign workers to come here to support economy. They all stand when he talks about treating lawbreakers humanely.

What a crock of shit......

-- Liberty in the Middle east.... Dems don't clap.

-- Bringing justice to enemies, most seemed to clap. Pelosi reluctantly stood and the Dems clapped. Dems don't like talk about freedom in the Middle East.

-- Adding Marines to Afghanistan brings applause only when he thanks the military.

-- He's talking about the troop surge and the improvements. Pelosi stood immediately and made sure that all the Dems stood and applauded.

-- Talking about Al Qaeda in Iraq and success against them since last year. Enemy will be defeated. Only Repubs stood and clapped initially. Military people in gallery were excited. Dems only clapped and stood late into the clapping.

-- Tells military they will have anything they need to protect the nation. Everyone clapped. Next statement only Repubs clapped.

-- 20,000 troops coming home. Pelosi stood after blinking rapidly and realizing what was said.

-- Iraqi people taking control of their future. Dems do not clap.

-- Says.... We will not rest until enemy is defeated. Everyone claps and stands.

-- Talks about Palestinian leader and a Palestinian state. Tepid applause from everyone.

-- Now talking about Iran. Look forward to the future of the Iran people's freedom. No quarrel with the people. We will defend interests in the Persian Gulf. Not all Dems applaud.

-- Says... To protect America we need to know who the terrorists are talking to. Charges Congress to act. Dems DO NOT clap or applaud.

-- Dems and everyone clap when opposition to genocide in Sudan is mentioned.

-- Wants Congress to help farmers overseas in fight against famine. [Freak]

Camera focuses on some lady in an African getup.

-- Dems like Veterans Administration statement regarding funding, but don't like funding military against future wars.

-- Honoring the military.... Pelosi looked she wasn't paying attention then realized she had to stand and clap. eek

-- Says we must trust the people and our state of the union will remain strong. Only tepid support among the Dems in the crowd.

He concludes the speech.....

..............................................

If anything, the behavior of the Democrats and the things they clearly showed that they do not think are important....... should be a big wake up call in an election year.

..............................................

The Democrat Party Response...

Given by Kathleen Sebelius, Democrat Governor of Kansas.

-- Says families can't pay bills and will lose homes. Implies government has to step in.

-- She lies and says the Dems have helped in bipartisan efforts to help national security.

-- Talks about healthcare for children (the current bill is not all about children)

-- Talks about going "green". Jeez... these people are clueless. Says it will create jobs. Yeah... sure.

-- Talks about her being "commander in chief" of Kansas National Guard. Talks code words about surrender in Iraq. Says that is the new course. Says that is a better course.

-- Says surrender is a better course for national security. Seems to think it will make us look better in the world. To whom? The terrorists?

-- Keeps talking about charting a new course. Other than implying surrendering Iraq to terror and leaving, she doesn't say exactly what that course is.

-- Talks about sharing prosperity and the common good. No details. Probably implying more government socialism.

That thin lipped, gray haired witch didn't say much at all that was useful.

She is actually a good argument that women in high office are bad.
..............................................

NBC is now giving Hillary free campaign time to present her tiring message.

She says she is ready to be president on Day One. She says she's been offering solutions and doing things for 35 years. [Freak]

..............................................

NBC is now giving Obama free campaign time. Asked about Ted Kennedy endorsement.

He goes on to talk about healthcare, mortgage crisis,....... nothing about national security. Is that important to Democrats?

He says he will bring Dems, Repubs and Independents together to work on healthcare and social security. Nothing about foreign policy or terrorism. Do terrorists even exist in the Democrat world?

..............................................

In Summary....

It wasn't a bad speech for a president on his way out and making his last SOTU Address.

I personally don't agree with all of it, but there was some good things to it also.

He charged Congress to do a lot. Of course Congress rarely wants to do anything that doesn't help Congress or their pursuit of power and buying votes with the taxpayers own money.

Bush's Executive Order regarding earmarks is good and should have been done MANY years ago. I hope he makes good on that pledge and sticks to it.

His mention of taxes and tax cuts was good. He reminded everyone that 100 million people got tax breaks under his administration. The Democrats lie and claim only rich people got tax cuts (Many Americans have very short memories).

He also made sure to focus a lot on the Middle East and Iraq in a looking forward manner. There are too many people who dangerously think this region can be ignored.

..............................................

Regarding C-Span's coverage......

Their camera was located on a higher perch. During most of the speech, you never saw Pelosi's face. All you saw was the outline of those old tits enclosed in that San Francisco lavender outfit right behind Bush's head.

It's better to see the blinking.

I think I'll bow out on this one. If I wanted to get the State of the Union, wouldn't I seek this info from someone who actually fucking knows? I could learn more about what's really going on in my country by fondling my own balls than listening to Captain Fucko's Stuttering Cowboy Clappin' Show.

That reminds me of a joke:

Me and my wife were sitting watching the address, and every time they panned out and showed the audience my wife would jokingly say "That's a lot of white"..... smile eluding to the fact that 99% of our governing body is wealthy old white men who have absolutely no care or regard for what the people of this country really want or need. I then would counter with the age old "why does it have to be a race thing!?" and she would just smile, pat me on the head, and feed me some nachos....?

She then asked me whatever happened to Colin Powell. I told her Oprah ate him....

Some interesting info....

For all of Democrat Governor Kathleen Sebelius' talk of what she thinks American values are..... it seems her son has some "wigga" values he is trying to sell.

He has a Monopoly like prison board game he wants to sell... and his parents, including the governor, are very proud of him..... [Freak]

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jzb-oqiKWtWSzs8zC7LFGW7TKt0AD8UEEVI00

http://www.kansascity.com/entertainment/columnists/hearne_christopher_jr/story/455417.html

Quote:
Now, courtesy of Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius’ son John Sebelius, it’s a board game called Don’t Drop the Soap. The unusual game more-or-less makes its world premiere Jan. 31 at — where else? — Hobbs in downtown Lawrence.

“It’s a game played like Monopoly, sort of,” says Hobbs owner Mark Swanson. “Only it’s a game based on prison life. The object of the game is you’re supposed to get out on parole, but you collect smokes. Smokes are money.”

How outrageous is it?

“Fight your way through six different exciting locations in hopes of being granted parole,” the box reads. “Escape prison riots in the yard, slip glass into the mob boss’s lasagna in the cafeteria, steal painkillers from the nurse’s desk in the Infirmary, avoid being cornered by the Aryans in the Shower Room, fight off Latin Kings in Gang War and try not to smoke your entire stash in the Hole.”

So what influences from a buttoned-down Democratic upbringing led to a sexually charged board game with gang names like Zulu Nation, Texas Syndicate and Nazi Lowriders? A game that stipulates that “a guard finds you after you sold him some bad crack. Lose a turn and 50 packs” or “You slipped in the shower. Big mistake. Proceed to infirmary”?

For one, mom Kathleen. She “actually went undercover into one of the jails to see how prisoners were treated,” several years back, John says. “She actually was strip-searched and everything. She was in there for a few days.” John invented the game three years ago as a class project at the Rhode Island School of Design.

“One of the other students did one about being a devout Christian and fighting off the other religions of the world,” he says. “Mine kind of became a school cult game. Everybody was playing it. … Now it’s kind of a family tradition to play the game at Christmas time.”
Quote:
The governor's spokeswoman, Nicole Corcoran, said both parents "are very proud of their son John's creativity and talent."
Obviously this is the politician Democrats chose to champion family values and American values. Maybe they loved the fact that he left out the powerful Muslim, Hispanic, and Mexican prison gangs in his game.

Don't pass go and don't collect $200.

I think you need to buy your wife a pair of glasses.

Really.... 99% of our governing body is wealthy old white men who have absolutely no care or regard for what the people of this country really want or need...... What the hell has she been reading or listening to?

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus and the The Congressional Black Caucus kind of put a damper on the all white argument. They are also basically all Democrat clubs too. No Republicans wanted... regardless of skin color. So much for "diversity".

I have no idea what the Congressional White Caucus thinks about that membership scenario. [Freak]

73 members of the House and 16 members of the Senate are also women.

Relax Madman. We were joking. We had just finished watching Chris Rocks new comedy special and he had a skit about being rich vs being wealthy in this country i.e. Shaq is rich, the man who signs his paycheck is wealthy etc...

So Madman, I'm not clear from your posts here. You riding a donkey or an elephant in '08? laugh

Georgia votes on Super Tuesday but I'm working 6a-6p that day so I went and voted yesterday, the first day of advance voting. Our faithful Fulton County (metro Atlanta) public servants had posted a printer-made sign directing us to the second floor for "advanced" voting. confused

Even if their spelling skills aren't the best, they moved us through pretty well considering their computers were down. I found it odd that over 90% of the people there to vote were over 60 and white. The age and race aren't relevant, I was just surprised that any one demographic group had such a large majority there. I expected more of an average crowd.

I'm not voting for any of the Democrats running for president. You have been listening to some of the shit they are talking about haven't you?

I'm also not happy with any of the Republicans running either. It's really a stretch of reality to call a couple of them Republicans in the first place. One of them I loathe and despise more than I could any Democrat.

We'll have to see how things play out.

I think most early voters tend to be older people. I don't know about the demographics.

Who did you vote for?

Thanks for the Cliff Notes version NY Madman. I tried to watch it last night, but it was unwatchable.

I did watch it on C-span. It was the only channel that shut up during the introduction. I tried to watch it on the other channels, but could not.

It wasn't a bad speech. I didn't much care for the pandering to AIDS victims, etc. but the talk of alternative energy by a republican was encouraging, as was the talk of expanded benefits for military servicemen and their families.

The Earmark piece is huge. If he makes good, I hope this is a precedent setter.

There wasn't anything groundbreaking, but he called out the democratic congress on their ineffectiveness on several occassions which made Hillary and scowl and me smile.

Hillary's twat is an ice dispenser, I think. That is, if the ice cubes can get around the nutsack.
