I'm looking into a slight career change and am trying to find some info. We've been doing SCRUM for the last 6 months, gotten certified in that (not that it was hard) and am now interested in Professional Project Management.

I'm looking for reading material suggestions from folks with experience.

I just got a promotion to BA (Business Analyst) from Quality Assurance, starting to learn some Project Management stuff myself now. Good luck dude.

What kind of industry is it you work in?

Right before I changed jobs, I was getting ready to go down the PMP path - it's pretty involved. Can take upwards of a year or more.
