new owner here. always liked the original pathfinder so when i needed new wheels i test drove an x and loved it. now i have about 650 miles on it and i still love it but two of the doors droop a bit when opened. I will have the dealer look at it but is this a common problem? also, when unlocking the auto hubs i can't hear any sound or click like an old ford i had once. are these hubs silent or are they not unlocking? any help would be appreciated.

Welcome! I also got interested in the X because I like the original Pathfinders. Still have my '94 XE 4x4.

Since I have an 05 X, can't really help with your questions, other than to point out that the 04 X and the original Pathfinder (wd21) have pretty much the same set up regarding hubs/transfer case etc so should behave basically the same (no click from my Pathy's hubs, anyway). Couldn't tell from the post if you actully owned an old pathy or just liked 'em, though.

Anyway, welcome, and I'm sure you'll get some feedback from the other people here soon enough...

You should hear a couple of clicks from each hub when they unlock (assuming you do have an '04). The '05's don't have auto locking hubs, though, from what I understand.

The doors dealer should fix for you with no problem. Although it's not common but it's been seen before.
