On the way to work this morning, odometer turned over to 70 thousand miles

Lemme see, bought the X in march, 2001. had it for a little over 4 years now.

Since I've had it:

Moved 3 times
Driven thru snow, driving rain, severe heat, floodwaters, etc etc
Hauled almost everything you can think of in the back
Slept in the back a few times
Screwed in the back a few times
Taken it to Oregon, Washington,and Nevada
Replaced front and rear bumpers, both times accidents weren't my fault
Strangest thing I've hauled - 50 gallon aquarium with a real big snake inside

Problems I've had - hmmm, can't think of anything

The X has never let me down once, best vehicle I've owned so far

70k down, 100k to go...by then my son will be old enough to drive and I'll get a new one

Funny, I hit 70k last week. 2001 goldrush, bought in July 2001.

On my was to Wisconsin this past weekend I turned over 60,000. I got a little excited there and my g/f looked at me all weird.

This weekend was my biggest haul to date: about 400 lbs of firewood plus tents, blankets, sleeping bags, food - everything you need to camp out for 2 days and 2 nights.

I too have a 2001 Gold Rush X, but it only has 46k miles. I'm sure it will be a while before I hit the 70k 'coz my daily driver is my 1996 240sx that has 70k miles. = )

At 70,000 it's just getting broken in. Nissans go forever, well almost. I've put 11,000 on mine since Feb and I've got 265,000 on my 93 Pathfinder.

I hit a milestone today too! 29,000!

I'm catching up fast. 9 months old..22,000

I just hit 70,000 miles on the 3rd day in Yosemite NP (6/22). Bought in March 2001.

I just turned 268,000 KM's this week. I do alot of driving for work and fun.

mine hit 55555 on the way to the park yesterday.

Ours has 52,XXX miles. Bought in June of 2001 and paid off LAST MONTH! It's all ours!

I'm just a little behind - I hit 52,xxx and I purchased mines in January 2001.

I have been to 4 states with mines though.

I guess I might as well chime in again on another mileage post....at 107,000 miles now and still going strong...

58,xxx miles 00' and no major problems as of yet. my 91' max had 170,000 with the original clutch! and no slippage...i hope my X holds out the same.

87k and change on mine. bought it aug. of 03 w/ 58k on it. just back and fourth to work everyday and school.

22,7xx miles on my 03 X that i bought in Jan. 2004. when i'm at college i don't drive that much

I just got home from work, checked some stuff out online and saw this post. I hit 70K this afternoon on the way home on my 2001 also!! Awesome. Congrats man. I've been through alot with my X and I'am still in love. Plan to finally lift it this year and do some other mods now that it will be paid off shortly. Much love to all the fellow older X's. I got it with 5 miles on it. Been a great ride so far.

Only problems have been window regulators, (warrenty/recall work no $) and I had to get a new radiator and wax kit. But I do live in AZ and drive it pretty hard. :p

Mine's an '02 purchased in March of '02 and it's got 56,000 on it.
it's rolled (not my fault)
been stuck in some fairly deep snow on the sides of mountains (my fault, lesson learned)
camped in it a ton
most recent odd thing to haul in it: spices for the company I work for
drove it from Santa Monica, CA, through Nevada (twice), Utah, Arizona, Colorado (almost everywhere), Wyoming, Missouri (repeatedly), and Kansas (repeatedly)

My 01 has just gone over 75k. Bought in Aug 01 and was parked for 7 months while on deployment for the beginning of OIF. Lots of trips to northern California and one trip to Great Lakes for school and back to San Diego. No probs whatsoever. Just installed that dam mod, perfect mod for sunny SoCal and highly recommended for anyone with a sunroof, and a Gibson exhaust that I was able to use regular sockets on to remove the original exhaust (no rust). Only have changed oil and filters, replaced shocks with Bilsteins and new tires Bstone Dueler HLs. Paid off last year and intend to keep it for at least 4-5 more years unless it gets totalled.

My 2002 just hit 70,000 today. At 70,008 they were all my miles. I put 9000 miles on it in the first three months, driving back and forth from Portland, OR to Whidbey Island, WA every four days.

Since then it is mostly just around town. I got it Dec 2001 with 8 miles on it.
