ceiling hooks in cargo area?

I've had my X for almost a month. Lovin' it. But, what are the hooks in the ceiling cargo area for? Just curious. Maybe the answer is in the owner's manual, but I've not found the time to read that huge tome. Thanks for your input.

They are to help secure the cargo. Use them in unison with the floor hooks. The current generation has the untilitrack on the floor to adjust the position of the bottom hooks. It's all in the manual.

Hey, no matter what, they are there if you need them. Its just more tie down points. For example, Raingler makes a cargo net that hooks to the ceiling...and when carrying furniture, I use them in conjunction with the floor hooks to provide a vertical barrier against shifting, etc. 1000's of uses....and counting.

I used them for my Gimp. He was a small angry slightly deformed man in a leather mask that hopped around like a monkey and i'd hook his leash to the ceiling hook.... but i traded him for a Raingler cargo net!

I don't know if it's been done in an '05+... might take some modification... but I'm sure you can figure something out.
