Anonymous Unregistered	Hi Kids Just picked up the latest Maximum PC and read a blip about a new free NASA program called world wind. NASA World Wind So far, a very killer program. Very detailed views. See where you drove your Xterra off road today. One caveat. Takes up a very large amount of disk space. Cheers.

Anonymous Unregistered	The resolution on google earth seems to vary greatly. If you look at major landmarks or metro areas it is often quite good but I have looked at some smaller towns and you can barely tell there is anything there at all.

Anonymous Unregistered	Anyone else try this one yet? http://local.live.com The "birds eye view" option is pretty slick. If you happen to be in an area where it's not available, go to a major metropolitan area or large town - it's worth a look. Edit: Nothing to install - completely browser based.
