Hey Guys I am Matthew Sinsigalli of Windsor Locks Ct I own a 2004 Xterra with really no mods dont want to void the warranty just yet. When I bought the Xterra they said it was some edition but it dosent have SE or any of that. Dont know if that was just their way of trying to sell me the truck.

It is 4wd right?

Welcome to a load of info. It might take a bit to void that warranty. Look around this site and do some "warranty" searches. SE, XE, it's your ride. I'm on my second X, both truck and hoe. Rode (ride) the hell out of both of 'em.

Yeah - they CAN'T void the warrenty because of mods.

They can say a particular mod CAUSED a covered part to fail, bt they have to PROVE IT....that's the LAW.



We just don't see evidence of it being a problem at all...a few individual stealerships told some people here and there bullshit about "You put on mud tires which have more traction than the OEM tires it was designed for and that made your exhaust rust" type of crap...

And then people went to a second dealer who covered the warrenty and made it right...and got the new business and recommendations.

Some dealers even SPONSOR off road groups now too.

Its good business.

I know its 4X4 I went back to the dealer today and they said its an XE anyone know what extras that comes with?

the xe is gust a trim level it could be a number of things like power package, world champion, ect.
