hey just wondering if anyone had one of these and how they worked. Was wondering if i could just put i in my pocket and not have to buy a shoe. And how do they work. GPS or what. And is it worth it. I found the holder i have a link to, but i have also read a review taht it only works in the nike shoes made for it, true false? Holder

Thanks

only works in the nike shoes. Its a small sensor. not quite sure how it works, but its fairly accurate. I tested it with a GPS and was within .02 miles.

If you look through the apple discussion forum, I remember a couple posts about a pouch you can put on your laces that will register it. The link for the apple discussions is http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1123

Hopefully that will help. I haven't got the Nano yet to be able to get this.

I've got one of these, and the overpriced shoes they sell with them. I love the shoes and the iPod kit is farely accurate, though if I had the cash, I'd replace it with a Garmin 305. The Nike gear would be great if it used GPS instead of or alongside the accelerometer.
