Hi All,

I'm new to this club but not to Xterras. Just bought a brand new '07 4WD S Model (Avalanche) after trading in an '02 2WD X Model (Cloud) that I had for 5 years. I really LOVE the new model although the squared-off design took a bit to grow on me but now I like it.

I upgraded to 4WD because my son and I found out the hard way that beach launching a jetski is murder. We like to go to San Felipe in Baja Mexico. I plan on also joining a local Xterra club here in So Cal to do some other off-roading as well.

Don't have 500 miles on it yet but the current mods are: Rancho Sus. Coil/Shock 2.5" Quick-lift, Calmini 1.5" Shackles, and 33" BFG Mud Terrain T/As (255/85R16).

Mods to come: Shrockworks front bumper and sliders, Surco 45" x 60" Safari Rack, Warn winch, ARB rear air locker, cool air intake, Hella lights and I would like also to have a 2 battery set up.
