Ok - so this goes back about 2 years now. Me & My bro in law are out in the desert doing some shooting after Thanksgiving and we come across a whole uncooked turkey (Shop brought), looks like someone had taken it out there to shoot it with something lame like a shotgun from a distance, or pistols as it was still in 1 piece.

So we were like - what the hell, we'll shoot the thing too. I take aim with my Mosin Nagant 7.62x54 from about 50 yards away. BOOOMB (It's a loud gun), the turkey explodes pieces land in trees etc. nearby. About 5 minutes later after we stop laughing, we realize what an awesome bird the Turkey really is.

So spawned the annual RiNkY family Turkey shoot. Providing food for Coyotees since 2005.

We do the same thing at our hunting cabin with large pumpkins filled with water, and a 30.06 caliber hunting rifle from 100 yards.

Ka-BOOOOMM!!

It's a lot cheaper with milk jugs full of water.

Pick up the trash
Give the turkey to a food bank.

Gonna be buying a couple of Turkeys on Friday or Saturday, when the stores are selling them off. Foodbanks won't even want perishable food then.
