Black Friday 2007

This year was pretty good on black friday and walked away with a new fiancee, and I didn't even have to wake up at 3am and fight the crazy crowds of full contact shopping.

She said yes..

I hid the ring inside a traditional Japanese Puzzle Box . To unlock this box, you have to complete in exact order 9 separate but simple moves. Once you figure out these moves, you are rewarded with whatever is hidden inside.

Here is the studio/lighting setup that I used to capture these.

* The background supports are made from PVC pipes,
* Black and white bedsheets
* Novatron K-V240D-2C provide the lighting.

Note: It's been awhile since I pulled out my studio kit, so I didn't know that the batteries in my lightmeter were dead. So I did the exposure on these "manually".
