Hey everybody, I'm new to the board with my first X. I've been wanting an Xterra since they came out my sophomore year of high school. I've been keeping my eye on the insurance auctions lately, and I found what I was looking for!

It's a silver 2000, 158K, 5 speed, ARB bullguard bumper, 6000 lb Warn winch, rancho lift, rancho air shocks with in cab controls, hitch that's locked on (no key), and some yakima racks(also no key).

Got it for $2250. The catch is, it was in a flood two months ago.

Here's how she looked before I got started...








I've done a lot of work already, and have managed to get it started. Fixed the foglights, keyless entry, horn (though it still sounds sick), had the mirrors going for a bit, then they died again. Winch solenoids click, but sounds like the motor is sizzling. All operational lights operate, but I had to order new headlights. Old ones couldn't be saved after having water in them for two months. Tail lights cleaned up alright. Seats are turned inside out right now. Both front seats wouldn't slide forward or back; found out that pennies, dimes, and quarters had fallen out of people's pockets and lodged in the rails. Watch out for that, seems like it could happen to anyone. All the seats, carpet, console, trim, etc is pulled out and has been basking in the sun. I think things will clean up ok, should be a nice rig when I'm done.
