So last week I had to stop for groceries first and then drive 100 miles home. Realized my expensive wild coho salmon was going to suffer in two hours. Pulled off the road and tried to somehow press the fish against the inside of a rear window where it would stay cool since the outside air was cold. Must have looked humorous; trying to paste fish on window. Could not figure it out. Finally dawned on me; the roofrack compartment .. meant to dry wet boots I guess.. in the air stream. Perfect fish cooler. Worked fine.

Just thought you X-folk would be amused..

Thanks for the tip, I'd pay a lot of money so see that fish pressed up against the window, ahah...

My friends and I went camping once, got our underwear wet from swimming in a lake. I threw the undies on my roof rack hoping it'd dry. 4 hours later it froze solid and was damp after it thawed.
I didn't even tie it down since the air dam directs the air right over it.
