Hey, my name is Chris and I've been a Mustang fan for years (1969 fastback, 82 GT, 95GT, 03 Cobra, 01 Cobra). With my wife and I looking to start a family, and with how active I am (schoo, gym, MMA) I've been looking at picking up an SUV.
The Xterra's to me are the best looking ones, so I've been on here doing research on them.

Great site and while I don't have an X yet, I'm pretty sure one is on the way.

Which X are you looking to get?

About 300 miles...not so bad. Return trip sucks though if I happen to get skunked. I'm pretty good analyzing bouy reports and swell charts so that rarely happens.

Looking at 2003 SEs
Would like a 4x4, but honestly can't come up with a good enough reason to REALLY get one....lol.
My wife has a 07 Pathfinder and honestly with all our dogs, the Mustang just isn't the best car for that...So, I've always like the Xterras, and as much as we like the Pathfinder - figured I would take another look at the Xs.

That's what I was wondering about...heh.
I would NOT be happy if I made that drive and got shut out.

i would definitely spend the extra money to get the 4x4. even if you don't use it often, i'm sure there will be some times when it would come in handy. plus, once you get the xterra, you're probably going to be tempted to take it offroading at least once. then you'll be hooked and regret only having two wheel drive
