Hey all, considering buying an '08 S but need some good ol' peer pressure to help me pull the trigger. It's either that or drive my '97 legacy into the ground. So I'm not quite worthy to post here yet but hope to be soon...c'mon, help push me over the edge here smile

Haha, thanks fellas. Time to do some test drivin'. Except now I'm trying to decide between an '08 S and an '06 X (power everything, 4x4) with 5600 miles on it for $20K...seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Do you plan on wheeling the vehicle?

Does either one come with a locker? (Yep, I'm not really up to date on the newer generation X's)

Make the plunge, dude. It's a great ride.

Definitely drive and look at as many as you can. Check the local Nissan dealer websites, Check autotrader.com, vehix.com, and the local papers.
There are deals to be had.

I lost track of how many I saw and drove in the month before I bought mine....but the extensive search paid off. Picked up an absolute dead-mint 2005 4x2 with 28K miles and the Off Road package for $14.6.

Nothing too hardcore, though I fear/hope that I may catch the bug. Locker appears to only be an option on the OR model.
