Today 00-20 Next Monday 21-50? May11th the rest will go out. But only to people that had their checks direct deposited in the first place.

My overtime put me into a higher bracket this year... I had to pay almost what they're giving back to me. I wish I could just endorse the check and send it right back to them...

I usually pay a few hundred so I haven't received a return via dd in a long time. We have some mail thieves in our hood AND Walmart announced they'd cash these checks for free. What are the chances they'll be checking ID? :rolleyes:

The government announcing checks and dates like that makes it a regular buffet for thieves that run through yuppie neighborhoods like mine where everyone works from 9-5, mostly.

About a week ago, the F-ers took a birthday card out of my neighbor's mailbox, opened it, took the $20 from Gramma to her grandson and left the opened card and the paper from the envelope behind. Nice, huh? Our post office was like, "uh yea, we've had some reports like that lately."

Thankfully I did direct deposit - I moved between then and now.

Stupidly...from what I've been told...if you got your refund by check you get your "stimulus check" by check...if you got your refund via DD, you get your "stimulus" via DD...yet if you paid taxes (like I did) it doesn't matter how you paid (check our auto deduction) you still get it by check...fuck wads.

I wasn't aware of this one. When I e-filed my taxes I filled out the DD information for them to deposit the payment by DD. Although I owed $2100 in federal taxes, I received a refund on State Taxes via DD.

It doesn't matter whether or not you got a refund. If you filled out the direct deposit information on your tax form, then you will have it direct deposited.

For what its worth, I had my refund direct-deposited (filed before Jan 31, even!), and my last two are "14", and I haven't seen the payment yet. Sucks because I'm leaving on vacation today and could use the money for some last-minute shopping. I'll be far away from the internet, cell-service, and ATM's where I'm headed so the economic stimulating will have to wait...

I believe this is incorrect. Its not actually a tax rebate at all, but simply a payment from the US Government. The only reason its tied in to the IRS/tax process is because it is based on your level of income, and that is a declaration process that is already being used.

Damn..my last two are "04" and I got my refund by DD and I still haven't gotten my $1500 (one wife one kid) yet...
