My workplace is looking to replace our keyboards. It's a dispatch center where the computers receive heavy 24/7 use. A year or so ago they bought some Saitek keyboards but they're falling apart and there's so much glare off the keys you can't even read the ones that aren't rubbed off already.

A Google search for heavy-duty or industrial type keyboards yielded disappointing results. We don't need $400 models built for construction site use but something reasonably priced and tough. Anybody have any experience with rugged keyboards?

Edit, the 104/105s are usb. i have the ps2 version.

I have a Logitech I have been beating on for about 5 years at work.

I've heard the Chia Keyboard is pretty tough

They produce the original IBM design. I just bought a grey USB version for myself to use at work - I love it! I love the tactile feel, the click when typing - and it's the same heavy-duty keyboard as the original IBM's.

Plus you can disassemble them and clean pretty easily.
