Does anyone have a Wii Fit yet? If so, do you find it worth the $89.99?

Mine is set to arrive shortly.

G4 gave it 4/5 stars. It seems like a neat little to, but not sure if this is the means to become fit.

The creator of the Wii fit acknowledged that while Wii Fit won't get you into "shape" it'll give you a damn good start. The main idea is to encourage people to work towards fitness goals and to have a better understanding of their posture and balance. Think Brain Age but instead of your mental ablities you're working on your physical abilities. smile

I've spent about 45 minutes with mine now and I've gotta admit that this thing is friggin awesome! laugh I wound up inviting my next door neighbor over to join in on the festivities so I could get his take on it. Both of us laughed our asses off at each other because not only will this thing kick your ass (Don't believe me... try yoga!) but you'll fall on your's quite often. I look forward to spending a good deal of time playing Wii Fit.

I'll be anxious to see how everyone else likes this thing. Just do yourselves a favor before getting on the balance board... stretch!!! I kinda overlooked doing so and now my legs and sides are feeling it. LOL!

Great... Another game to balance inbetween Mario Kart and House of the Living Dead 1, 2, and 3...

There seems to be a bit of a shortage of Wii Fit (SoCal - LA Area)... Went to three BB's and a couple of Fry's stores and they said they sold out pretty fast... Go figure... Isn't there shortage of Wii consoles?!

Should this even constitute a game??

I'm gonna go play push ups while I contemplate the answer to that question......

I fully expected it to insult me from day one but somehow I emerged in the "normal" range. The best results I've managed thus far is a Wii Fit Age of 31 and a BMI in the mid 24 range. I'll say this though... I didn't use it at all this past weekend. My legs were quite sore to say the least, but today I'll be back in action as I really like this thing!

I liked the snide comments from my "personal trainer"... like asking if I tend to trip often or that she noticed I took a break during my workout...

"Find out today why people all over the world think they're getting exercising with that little white thing you stand on." [Spit] [ThumbsUp]

I still can't believe how Nintendo took such an ordinary concept (home exercise) and found a way to make it so darn addictive!

Come on 5 p.m. I need my fix. :p
