Does anybody know what the maximum roll and pitch angles are for a 2002 X. I asked this at the Eat and Greet and got some good answers as far as how to test for this and what people have taken there vehicles to, but I was wondering if anyone knew what the vendor specs were, or if they even have this information available. I've gone over the owners manual a couple of times and all I can find is the approach and desent angles.

Also, does anyone have any reccomendations for a clinometer. Most of what I see out there only goes to 25 degrees and sometimes thirty. Is there a clinometer that will go to 45 or 60 degrees? Has any one modified their clinometer using the procedure described on this web page . I would like to get something that can go to the limits of the X, I also would like ot add some back lighting as well. Kaotik where did you get your blue neons?

By the way I changed our handle from GAKII to Dos Equis. It is a name I picked up at work since I am one of the larger guys here.

I don't think anyone knows for sure what the angles are. Anyone one know their CG location in all three axes? I have a set that go +/- 45 forward and side to side. I've pegged them fore and aft and seen it hit 40 side to side.

I think offroadx has reached about 40+ degrees a few times. Others I am sure have reached that as well.

I found this clinometer on a web page for which supplies tilt gages for cranes and booms etc. It has a range of +/- 50 degrees tilt and roll. Not sure where exactly I would mount it though without drilling into the dash, any suggestions. There are also a few analog and digital clinometers out there that could be worked into a digitial clinometer display but there a bit pricey for the application I think.
