I would love to go somewhere to test all the new stuff I got installed in my X so far this year.

But, I believe Hollister Hills will be closed this weekend...Some other club has it reserved.

Id love to hook up for a run if I werent already leaving this afternoon for Death Valley. Im headed down there in my X with a friend and his dog in his Jeep XJ that we recently put a 4.5" suspension lift on. I am so stoked I couldnt sleep last night.

Anyhow, Id love to adventure more when I get back. Be safe!

Yeah, a toyota land cruiser association event, I believe. They'll have the new FJ cruiser there and you get to drive it on the trails.

Thanks for heading over to Frank Raines w/ us today. It was very helpful in as far as prep for the Moab trip. It looks like my front bumper shifted forward about an inch from winching up that hill, so I'll need to take the bumper off tomorrow and check to see if everything is ok. I hope your motor mount won't be too much of a pain to fix. MMMMhhh..., MOAB

Hey Everyone,

The Frank Raines OHV trip was alot of fun. Cost per vehicle only $5.00...

We took the scenic route to get there. (Hwy 130)
Once we arrived we aired down, as usual. Then went Off-Roading...Had to test my new locker & compressor.

We spent about 2 hours, more or less, off-roading, then got to finally engage my new rear locker & arb mini-compressor. They worked great! I can't believe I never got one before now...WoW!!! What a difference it made & coupled together with my front lsd, loads of pulling power.

We got stuck in some really deep ruts a few times, but managed to escape without any major damage.

Well, I broke my left side motor mount, (Once Again) , but luckily, this time I used my new winch to hold the left side motor mount down, to keep my motor from rising up on the left side, & cutting into my radiator fan & fan shroud...I have a little damage there, but not bad at all. Racer Xterra & I decided to pack it in & go home after that...

I would've liked to stay off-roading a little longer, but the 4wheel gods were not happy with me today...

Thanx Racer Xterra for making sure I was fine on the way home...We both had alot of fun, Got to test our lockers, Had some really good work-outs, & Saw some really nice scenery...

I think it was well worth attending...Maybe more will attend next time.
