So, I wasn't allowed to work today so I just did the next best thing and went exploring Lovelady and Pacific Ridges. It's a typical OHV use area except it is great for stock SUV's and not a lot of traffic and pretty clean with some awesome views. In the pics you'll see Lassen and Shasta and East Peak Res. It would make a great family wheelin trip. There is no camping that I saw but there is a great little staging area with pit toilets and paved parking area. The trails are dirt....no rocks! But some are steep, very steep, and will challenge stock rigs without the risk of damage. There was one climb I could not make even locked (there are by-passes).
