Anybody else planning on makeing the trip in October with HXOC if it is still planned??

I know Roger is in Waco and he is planning on going so maybe you could meet up with him to make the drive to Dallas.

yeah, that would be cool. i'm trying to get in touch with some of the guys in SA and NB to see if they are planning on it.

this will be my first "big run" as in distance and time of run. are you guys planning to camp at the park? is it everyman for himself with food? will there be fees for anything? how does this stuff usually work?

Mike, are you planning on heading up on Friday? I want to meet with the Dallas area guys and caravan with them Friday night.

We can meet at an I35 exit like we always do for trips. Exit 328 has a Pilot station that works good.

Just let me know... I can leave anytime just so long as we meet Dan, Scott and the others whereever and whenever they decide.

Eddy is south of Waco right? We can meet anywhere around there at almost anytime like you said, long as we can meet up with them. that works for me. I haven't heard anything from the guys down here yet, so i'm not sure if there will be more than just me.

We usually share like Fajita's and stuff. For lunch and snacks each is on their own. Some sleep in tents some in their trucks.I have an explorer tent and sleep in the truck.

Bring a chair for the fire and anything you want to eat and there will be stoves enough I imagine so you won't need one.

Beer in OK is 3.2 if that matters to ya so you may want your own.

As it get's closer we will work out shared meals and who will bring what. You may want to keep a watch on the HXOC board too for input.

Also bring any spare parts you may have. Tools are usually covered as will airing back up be covered.

cool, thanks man, that helps a lot. sounds pretty much like i thought it would be.

starting reading the HXOC board and got answers to most of my questions, could have done that before asking i guess

i'll watch for more details, but as for now count me in. hopefully i can get some of the guys around here to make the trip too.
