Called Courtesy this morning looking for some parts. I get around to mentioning my SWXC 20% discount and "Randy" from Parts says the web price "includes the 20% discount". Umm if that's the new policy that tells me SWXC members get's the same damn price as any Tom or Dick would, is that right guys because I used to get 20% discount off chit when I showed up in person???

I get the same from them. Guess we need to post that on our site if true.

From what I understand their website is 'reduced' 20%, so no extra on that. If you get something that is not on the website, you do get 20% off. Maybe Carlton can chime in since he intially set up the discounts with them...

I'll call them today for some clairty. Might not be until this afternoon though.

In my experience, you get a better price in person than you do on the website. I dunno if it is the discount or what - but I always do the in-person thing because of it (well, and no shipping!).

Of course, it helps that I work about 5 minutes from Courtesy.

They may have changed their pricing policy since they started sponsoring us back in 1999.

Whoever is in charge of setting up/ maintaining the club sponsors should give them a call for clarification on the aparent new disount structure.

As of TODAY...

Courtesy Nissan/xterraparts.com/courtesyparts.com offers no discount on items listed on their website. Reason being is those items are already 20% off retail, and sometimes more. They do offer 20% off items not on the website (unless said items are classified 'low margin': engines, tires, air bags).

Jeez... I forgot this, sales rep at courtesy reminded it to me: "You are already set up in the computer for that, the online pricing is the discounted price". So the discounted price is for every online shoper...

If you go in to buy stuff in person that is on the website, print it out from the web before you go - they don't know what the website prices are and the MSRP is always much much higher.
